For scalps that need a reset between washes.

An itchy, flaky scalp is usually a build-up problem. Tea tree clears it, aloe calms the skin underneath, and rosemary is the one traditionally reached for to stimulate the follicles.

Method
01

Combine

Mix everything together in a clean spray bottle.

02

Apply

Shake well, spray directly onto the scalp, then massage in gently with your fingertips.

Tips and swaps

  • Use it on a dry scalp between washes rather than on freshly washed hair.
  • Skip the rosemary if you are pregnant.

Recipe FAQs

How often should I use it?
Two or three times a week on a dry scalp between washes. Daily use can be drying.
Is it safe if I am pregnant?
Leave the rosemary out. Rosemary is usually avoided in pregnancy. The tea tree and aloe are fine.
Will it help with dandruff?
It can. Flaking is often a build-up or yeast issue, and tea tree addresses both. If it persists, see a professional.
