Holistic Emporium is a South African-based supplier of natural ingredients, cosmetic raw materials, and wellness products. With over 20 years in the industry, we provide essential oils, carrier oils, butters, botanicals, fragrance oils, packaging, and DIY solutions for individuals, spas, manufacturers, and small businesses.
What makes Holistic Emporium different?
We’re a proudly South African brand known for quality, transparency, and personal customer service. Our ingredients are thoughtfully sourced, and we offer support for private labelling, custom formulations, and bulk supply for businesses. We’re also registered with Beauty Without Cruelty as well as SAEOPA and support local farmers and businesses.
Who can shop at Holistic Emporium?
Our store is open to everyone – from everyday DIY enthusiasts to professional cosmetic formulators, spas, salons, hotels, and retailers. Whether you’re creating your own beauty products or running a business, we have something for you.
Are you a manufacturer or just a distributor?
We are both a supplier and manufacturer. Many of our products are carefully curated or made in-house using ethically sourced ingredients. We also support businesses through bulk supply and white-label solutions.
Do you have a physical shop or are you online only?
We have both! You can shop online at www.holisticemporium.co.za, or visit our physical store 87 Linksfield Road, Dowerglen Edenvale, JHB Gauteng for personal service and collection.
Do you supply in bulk for businesses and manufacturers?
Absolutely. Many of our products are available in bulk quantities for professional use, with competitive pricing and reliable stock availability. Please contact us directly for a customised quotation.
Where are you based and do you deliver nationwide?
We are based in South Africa, Johannesburg and deliver nationwide via trusted couriers. Delivery times vary depending on your location but generally take 2–5 working days. Our customers also make use of Uber Parcel collections should they need their goods Urgently.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept secure online payments via credit/debit card, EFT (bank transfer), and PayFast. Please note: EFT payments must reflect in our account before goods are released or shipped. We also provide YOCO links for customers who contact us directly or collect same day with Uber or their own courier.
Do I need to create an account to order?
No, but we highly recommend creating an account for faster checkout, order tracking, and access to special offers and loyalty rewards.
Do you offer workshops or training?
From time to time, we offer workshops, product demos, and online resources to help customers learn how to make their own products. Follow us on social media or sign up for our newsletter to stay informed.
Do you offer discounts for loyal or repeat customers?
Yes! We offer discounts now and then. We do strive to give you the best quality at great prices.
Can I collect my order in person?
No, but we highly recommend creating an account for faster checkout, order tracking, and access to special offers and loyalty rewards.
Can I create my own product line with your ingredients?
Yes, many of our clients do just that! We provide everything you need – from carrier oils and essential oils to packaging and fragrance bases. Our team is happy to guide you through the process.
Can I sell Holistic Emporium products in my store?
Yes, we offer wholesale pricing and support for approved stockists or resellers. Please contact us to apply as a retail partner.
Do you cater for events or corporate gifting?
Yes! We can help you create custom gifts, wellness kits, or branded self-care packages for events, staff incentives, or client appreciation.

Are your ingredients organic and cruelty-free?
Many of our products are organically grown or wild-harvested, and none are tested on animals. Holistic Emporium is proudly registered with Beauty Without Cruelty, and we’re committed to conscious, ethical sourcing.
Are your products food-grade?
Unless specified, our products are intended for external use only. Please refer to individual product descriptions for specific usage guidelines.
Are your products environmentally friendly?
We strive to source sustainable ingredients and use eco-friendly packaging wherever possible. Our commitment to the environment is integral to our business practices
What is the shelf life of your ingredients?
Most carrier oils and butters will last 12–24 months when stored correctly. Essential oils can last 2–3 years, depending on the type. Keep your ingredients in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight, and always seal them tightly after use.
Where can I learn more about how to use your ingredients?
Our website is full of educational content — DIY recipes, formulation guides, blogs, and a downloadable Ingredient Encyclopedia. You can also reach out to our team for help — we’re here to support your natural journey.
Do you offer private label or white-label services?
Yes. We specialise in white-label solutions for spas, wellness brands, and entrepreneurs looking to launch their own product range. We supply bulk ingredients, packaging, and branding guidance tailored to your vision.
Do you offer product labels or branding support?
We offer white-label options and can advise on basic branding needs, but we currently offer printing services in-house. MOQ’s will apply depending on product selection.
Are your prices VAT inclusive?
Yes, all prices listed on our website are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
Orders & Delivery
When will my order ship?
Orders are packed and shipped within 24 hours. If there is ever a delay, we will contact you to let you know.
Paying by EFT
If you pay by EFT, the funds need to clear in our bank account before your order is packed or made ready for collection.
Collecting in Johannesburg
You are welcome to collect your order from us at 87 Linksfield Road, Dowerglen, Edenvale. We will let you know as soon as it is ready to collect.
Tracking your order
Once your order is on its way, we will email you a tracking link so you can follow its progress.
